BO “LYSENKO BROTHERS HEALTH AND PROTECTION CHARITABLE FUND”

About the fund

Back in 1989, the charity organisation Miloserdia (Mercy) was established to help people with disabilities, lonely elderly people, orphans and children deprived of parental care, families of the deceased, low-income and large families. It was headed by an energetic, wise, and strong woman, Larysa Ivanivna Lysenko, who brought together hundreds of children and families who were given a chance at a new life.

The foundation cared for children from tuberculosis dispensaries, cancer hospitals, psychoneurological dispensaries, orphans, people with disabilities, and low-income families.

Later, brothers Vyacheslav and Serhiy Lysenko continued their mother’s mission, who had managed the foundation for over 30 years, and began to strengthen its work at their own level during a particularly difficult time for our country. Since the start of the full-scale war, we have been providing assistance to the defenders of Ukraine who changed their lives and took up positions on the front line. We purchase and deliver clothing, food, equipment, and vehicles to our military — everything that makes their service easier and saves the lives of our heroes.

For many years, the foundation has provided medical and psychological assistance, food, clothing, children’s toys, support for the development and education of young people, and health improvement for children at recreation centres. Many children have found new loving families. Thanks to complex operations, children have been given the opportunity to see, hear and experience the world in a new way. The foundation has always had transparent financial reporting and, thanks to donations from patrons, has been able to
